POSITION OVERVIEW

We are currently seeking a Warehouse Operations Associate to oversee the streamlined functioning of our warehouse. This role encompasses logistics management, forklift operation, and the coordination of product and spare parts shipments to clients. The ideal candidate will possess strong attention to detail, exceptional organizational skills, and the ability to thrive in a dynamic environment.

RESPONSIBILITIES

The duties of the Warehouse Operations Associate include, but are not limited to:

  • Receiving and verifying incoming shipments for accuracy and quality standards,
  • Sorting, organizing, and storing products and spare parts in their designated locations,
  • Maintaining inventory levels and conducting regular stock assessments,
  • Assisting in optimizing the warehouse layout for maximum efficiency,
  • Safely operating forklifts and other material handling equipment to transport products and spare parts,
  • Loading and unloading goods from transportation vehicles,
  • Performing routine maintenance checks on forklifts and reporting any operational issues,
  • Picking, packing, and preparing products and spare parts for shipment based on customer orders,
  • Ensuring accuracy and completeness of all shipping documentation,
  • Coordinating with shipping carriers and managing delivery schedules to meet deadlines,
  • Tracking and resolving any shipping discrepancies or challenges,
  • Communicating with customers regarding order status and delivery timelines,
  • Addressing customer inquiries and concerns professionally,
  • Adhering to all safety protocols and warehouse procedures,
  • Utilizing personal protective equipment as necessary,
  • Promptly reporting any safety hazards or incidents.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred,
  • Ability to lift heavy items and perform physically demanding tasks,
  • Excellent organizational and record-keeping abilities to manage large volumes of inventory,
  • Capability to work effectively with minimal supervision,
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced setting,
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English,
  • Meticulous attention to detail for accurate order picking and packing,
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States without restrictions,
  • Forklift operation experience preferred,
  • Prior experience in a warehouse setting, including shipping and receiving,
  • Basic computer skills for inventory management and shipping documentation,
  • Outstanding communication and customer service skills.
