Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage pharmacy operations, including patient registration, prescription data entry, and medication preparation.
  • Supervise and train pharmacy technicians, ensuring they are equipped to provide excellent patient care.
  • Develop and implement processes to improve pharmacy efficiency and customer satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with pharmacists to ensure compliance with state and federal regulations.
  • Manage inventory, including ordering and stocking of medications and supplies.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with customers, including responding to customer complaints and resolving issues.
  • Participate in key store/pharmacy meetings, including 5-minute meetings and weekly check-ins with the Store Manager.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
  • PTCB or ExCPT certification (except in Puerto Rico).
  • One year of work experience as a pharmacy technician in a retail or hospital setting.
  • Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English (except in Puerto Rico).
  • Requires willingness to work flexible schedule, including evening and weekend hours.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous people management/leadership experience.
  • Previous work experience with Walgreens with an Exceeding Expectation on last performance evaluation.
What We Offer

Walgreens offers a competitive salary range of $22.50 per hour - $31.00 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications. We also offer a range of benefits, including health insurance, 401(k) matching, and paid time off.
