Job Title: Senior Vice President of Aerospace Business Area

Leidos Holding is seeking a highly experienced Senior Vice President to lead the Aerospace Business Area. This role is responsible for developing and executing business strategies to drive growth and revenue in the aerospace sector.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead a team of over 1000 employees with $600 million in revenue
  • Develop and execute business strategies to drive growth and revenue in the aerospace sector
  • Coordinate and lead the activities of multiple divisions and program areas
  • Ensure financial goals are achieved
  • Report directly to the Defense Systems Sector President
Requirements:
  • Broad and diverse leadership experience in large organizations focused on strategic planning, development, operations, and sustainment of aeronautics and space systems
  • Strong technical understanding in the application of technologies to support aerospace development and operations
  • Experience in working with senior government customers across defense, intelligence, and civilian agencies
  • Minimum of 15 years of relevant and successful experience in business and financial management, program management, engineering, and business development
  • Leadership experience and strong working knowledge in the application of cybersecurity technology, tools, and methods in the protection of mission-critical systems across the aerospace and defense domains
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Master's Degree in a technical field
  • Possess a Top Secret/SCI security clearance
  • Familiarity with financial, program, and contract management approaches, processes, and tools
