Job Summary
We're seeking a highly skilled Regulatory Manager to lead our efforts in ensuring regulatory compliance across global markets in the ag-bio sector. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring our products meet all relevant national and international regulations, while implementing strategies for safe and responsible use of our microbial technology.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with local, national, and international regulations related to our agricultural products and technologies.
- Stay up-to-date with evolving regulatory requirements and communicate changes to the team.
- Develop and implement product stewardship strategies to ensure safe and responsible use of our microbial technology.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation related to regulatory compliance and product stewardship.
- Prepare reports for regulatory agencies and internal stakeholders as needed.
- Conduct risk assessments to identify potential hazards associated with our products and technologies.
- Implement risk mitigation strategies to protect the environment and public health.
- Collaborate with cross-functional global teams to integrate regulatory and product stewardship considerations into product development and marketing initiatives.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and best practices in regulatory compliance and product stewardship.
- Establish structures and templates for Loam Bio's Quality Management System.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of these functions.
Requirements
- BS/BA Degree in a Scientific Discipline, Advanced Degree preferred.
- 4+ years agricultural regulatory experience in a supportive role, or equivalent industry experience.
- Experience of scientific principles and regulatory requirements around microbial development and post-market support.
- Experience during development and launch of microbial products for agriculture in the US.
- Ability to understand, apply, and articulate regulatory requirements for global microbial development and post-market support initiatives.
- Project management skills to oversee and coordinate various activities.
- A good understanding of the regulations relating to the products above.
