Grounds Maintenance Specialist

Maintain the aesthetic appeal and functionality of our campus grounds throughout the year. Perform duties associated with landscaping, maintenance, and snow removal to ensure a safe and welcoming environment for our patients, visitors, and staff.
Key Responsibilities- Assist in the upkeep of parking ramps, service lots, and walkways, ensuring they are clean, safe, and well-maintained.
- Maintain, repair, and paint machinery, equipment, and tools to ensure optimal performance and extend their lifespan.
- Work in a constant state of alertness and safe manner, adhering to all safety protocols and guidelines.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support the overall maintenance and upkeep of our campus.
- No prior experience is required, but a willingness to learn and adapt to new situations is essential.
- Constant standing and walking are required, as well as frequent lifting, carrying, and pushing/pulling objects weighing 0-25 lbs.
- Frequent reaching, gripping, and use of vision and depth perception are necessary for distances near and far.
- Occasional bending, stooping, climbing, kneeling, squatting, twisting, and repetitive foot/leg and hand/arm movements are required.
- Occasional lifting/carrying and pushing/pulling objects weighing 25-50 lbs may be necessary.
- Occasional use of hearing and speech to share information through oral communication is required, as well as occasional use of smell to detect/recognize odors.
- Rare crawling, sitting, and keyboard use/data entry may be required.
