Job Summary

Oakbrook Corporation is seeking a skilled Commercial Maintenance Technician to join our team. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal functioning of our properties. This role requires a strong foundation in technical skills, particularly in plumbing, electrical systems, and HVAC maintenance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine inspections of buildings and grounds to identify potential issues
  • Troubleshoot and repair various systems, including plumbing, electrical, and HVAC
  • Manage preventative maintenance schedules and document completed tasks accurately
  • Collaborate with property management and other team members to resolve issues and enhance tenant satisfaction
  • Prioritize tasks effectively, adhering to safety standards and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements
Requirements
  • Strong technical skills in plumbing, electrical systems, and HVAC maintenance
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively with team members and tenants
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment
