Museum Ticket Desk Representative

Job Summary
The Guest Services Associate-Level I is a key member of the Cdmfun team, responsible for providing exceptional customer service and supporting the museum's operations. This role is ideal for individuals who are passionate about delivering outstanding experiences and working in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide superior customer service to all visitors, ensuring a positive and memorable experience.
- Demonstrate a strong understanding of museum products and programs, and effectively promote them to customers.
- Operate the point of sale system with accuracy and efficiency, handling cash and credit transactions with precision.
- Ensure the ticket desk is stocked, tidy, and ready for the day's activities, adhering to all proper money handling policies and procedures.
- Communicate effectively with parents, teachers, and other stakeholders to ensure accurate reservations and provide reports as needed.
- Maintain a clean and presentable lobby and ticket desk area, restocking brochures and supplies as required.
- Monitor guest entrance and exit, reporting any issues or concerns to management.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Superior customer service skills, with a strong focus on delivering exceptional experiences.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with a variety of personalities.
- Ability to work in a high-pressure environment, multitasking and prioritizing tasks as needed.
- Availability to work a consistent part-time schedule, including day, evening, weekend, and holiday shifts.
