Key Responsibilities:
  • Retrieve items from inventory based on order specifications and prepare them for shipment or internal use.
  • Verify that items pulled match order details, including quantity, type, and condition.
  • Ensure that all picked items are correctly labeled and documented according to company procedures.
  • Prepare and package products for shipment, ensuring they are correctly labeled and meet company standards.
  • Generate and process shipping documents, including bills of lading, packing slips, and shipping labels.
  • Coordinate with shipping carriers to schedule pickups and ensure timely delivery of goods.
  • Track and trace shipments to ensure on-time delivery and resolve any issues or delays.
  • Inspect and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders or packing slips to ensure accuracy.
  • Unpack and organize received goods, checking for any damage or discrepancies.
  • Record and input received items into the inventory management system.
  • Notify relevant departments or personnel of any issues with received goods, such as damage or shortages.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or training in logistics or supply chain management is a plus.
  • Previous experience in shipping and receiving, inventory management, or a related field is preferred.
  • Basic computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and familiarity with inventory management systems.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
  • High level of accuracy in processing shipments and maintaining inventory records.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills for interacting with carriers, customers, and team members.
  • Ability to address and resolve issues related to shipping and receiving efficiently.
