Key Responsibilities:
As an Automotive Service Technician, your duties will include:
1. Utilizing your expertise to diagnose and resolve vehicle issues for our valued customers.
2. Gaining hands-on experience with a diverse range of domestic and international vehicles.
3. Conducting thorough and precise vehicle inspections to ensure safety and performance.
4. Collaborating with fellow technicians to address customer concerns efficiently.
5. Upholding our high standards of safety, cleanliness, and organization in the workplace.
6. Communicating effectively with the service department regarding customer needs.
Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, candidates should possess:
- A positive demeanor and a strong desire to assist customers.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in automotive service.
- ASE Certifications are preferred, or a commitment to obtain them.
- Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing various vehicle makes and models.
- The ability to meet or exceed performance goals.
- A willingness to learn new skills and processes.
- A professional appearance and excellent communication skills.
- An interest in long-term career growth within the automotive industry.
Physical Requirements:
Candidates must be able to:
- Occasionally lift and/or move items weighing over 100 pounds.
- Work with tools on vehicles positioned above their heads.
- Navigate tight spaces as required by vehicle repairs.
- Demonstrate dexterity for effective use of hand tools.
- Stand or walk for the majority of the workday.
- Operate manual transmission vehicles.
- Utilize a computer efficiently.
