Hospital Unit Service Coordinator 2-Neo-Natal ICU-Fulltime-Days

The University of California, Irvine seeks a highly skilled and detail-oriented Unit Secretary to join our team in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide exceptional administrative support, ensuring the smooth operation of the department and delivering outstanding patient care.
Responsibilities- Provide administrative support to the nursing team, including maintaining patient records, coordinating care services, and managing office supplies.
- Act as a focal point of communication in the nursing station, fielding phone calls and responding to patient inquiries.
- Assist patients and families with their needs, ensuring a positive and compassionate experience.
- Collaborate with other departments to coordinate care services and ensure seamless patient transitions.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Recent acute care experience as a ward secretary is highly desirable.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Ability to maintain a work pace appropriate to the workload and establish effective working relationships across the Health System.
