About the Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Registered Nurse to join our team at LCMC Health. In this role, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams, and participating in quality improvement initiatives. Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality patient care, prioritizing tasks and managing time effectively to meet deadlines.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver comprehensive patient care, including coordinating with medical staff, therapists, and other healthcare professionals as needed.
  • Delegate tasks and responsibilities to other members of the healthcare team, ensuring that each patient receives the highest level of care.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient interactions, medications, and treatments, communicating relevant information to other healthcare professionals as necessary.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives, identifying areas for improvement and contributing to process changes that enhance patient care and satisfaction.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) or equivalent experience required; master's degree in Nursing (MSN) preferred.
  • Current Louisiana RN licensure and CPR certification required.
  • Ability to lift 25 pounds, stand for long periods, and move quickly in response to patient needs.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively with diverse patient populations.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously.
