Medical Nurse Practitioner

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Nurse Practitioner to join our team at LCMC Health Urgent Care. As a Medical Nurse Practitioner, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced urgent care setting.
The estimated salary for this position is $65,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
Job Description:
- Provide Patient-Centered Care: Deliver exceptional patient care, including assessing patients, developing treatment plans, and implementing interventions to improve health outcomes.
- Maintain Accurate Records: Document patient information, treatments, and outcomes accurately and efficiently in our electronic medical records system.
- Collaborate with Healthcare Team: Work closely with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care and coordinate referrals as needed.
- Stay Up-to-Date on Industry Developments: Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current on best practices, new technologies, and changing regulations in the field of urgent care.
- Supervise Clinical Staff: Supervise and train clinical staff members, including LPNs/LVNs and certified medical assistants, to ensure they are equipped to provide high-quality patient care.
Requirements:
- Nursing Degree: Current RN license and applicable certifications (e.g., ACLS, BLS).
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with ability to interact effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
- Clinical Expertise: Strong clinical skills and knowledge in areas such as emergency medicine, pediatrics, and adult health.
- Leadership Abilities: Proven leadership abilities, with experience supervising and mentoring clinical staff.
- Time Management: Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple responsibilities, and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
