Job Summary:

Simpson is seeking a Care Associate to provide care and support to residents of our assisted living or personal care facility. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting residents with activities of daily living, providing medication reminders, and participating in recreational activities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist residents with bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
  • Help residents with mobility and transferring, including using assistive devices
  • Provide medication reminders and assistance with medication administration
  • Assist with meal preparation and feeding
  • Perform light housekeeping tasks
  • Provide companionship and emotional support to residents
  • Monitor residents' health and report any changes or concerns to the appropriate staff
Requirements:
  • HS Diploma or equivalent
  • Direct Care Worker Training from Temple University Online
  • CPR Certified
  • First Aid Certified
  • AED Certified (preferred)
  • Medication Administration Certified (preferred)
  • 1 year experience providing direct care to seniors or disabled people
