Project Manager - Civil Engineering

Vierbicher is a team of professional engineers, planners, and community development specialists who provide comprehensive solutions for a wide range of projects. Our goal is to deliver high-quality consulting services and products that enable our clients to achieve their objectives efficiently and effectively.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Provide exceptional client service by reviewing customer specifications for accuracy and maintaining open communication regarding project changes that may impact fees.
  • Create and manage project scope, design schedules, budgets, and contracts.
  • Develop and mentor entry-level project engineers in financial management, customer service, and client management.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact with clients, building strong, long-term relationships and maintaining current relationships with high-value clients.
  • Assess projects to identify and manage risks, ensuring that risk management practices are in place.
  • Delegate work to the project team, answer questions, monitor progress, and review completed work.
  • Prepare proposals, including fee estimates, and prepare project billing/invoices.
  • Collaborate with the team to coordinate project decisions with clients and other stakeholders.

We are seeking a highly experienced Project Manager with a Professional Engineering License for the State of Wisconsin and 7+ years of project management experience in site development or municipal infrastructure design. The ideal candidate will be proficient in AutoCAD Civil 3D and possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
