Your Role as a Technical Program Manager
In this position, you will be a key member of the Internet Services Technical Business Development organization, which is tasked with architecting, engineering, provisioning, and managing various types of capacity for Amazon and its customers. This encompasses our global private Backbone and the connectivity between Amazon and the Internet.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead complex, multi-disciplinary delivery service projects utilizing your telecommunications and networking expertise.
- Engage with internal stakeholders to define requirements and manage cross-functional projects throughout their lifecycle.
- Oversee project timelines, identify and mitigate risks, and communicate effectively with all project stakeholders.
- Collaborate with internal customers and technical teams to ensure capacity is available as needed.
- Measure and monitor performance against service level agreements (SLAs) and drive continuous improvement in processes and performance metrics.
- Manage network inventory while ensuring data integrity and efficiency.
- Foster relationships with leased and peering network partners to enhance delivery and identify areas for operational improvement.

Basic Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in technical infrastructure management.
- Familiarity with best practices and emerging technologies related to infrastructure.
