We are seeking a highly motivated Medical Data Specialist to join our team at the University of Maryland Medical System. As a Medical Data Specialist, you will play a critical role in supporting our quality improvement initiatives by collecting, analyzing, and interpreting large datasets.

The ideal candidate will have a strong analytical background and excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with clinicians and other stakeholders to develop and implement data-driven solutions. We offer a competitive salary of $ $80,000 - $105,000 per year, depending on experience, as well as a comprehensive benefits package.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collect, analyze, and interpret large datasets to identify trends and patterns
  • Develop and implement data-driven solutions to support quality improvement initiatives
  • Collaborate with clinicians and other stakeholders to design and implement process improvements
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of patient data and analytics

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a health-related field or equivalent experience
  • 2+ years of experience in medical data analysis or a related field
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
