Position: Housekeeping Supervisor
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Housekeeping Supervisor to join our team at Proper Hospitality Solutions LLC. This role is essential for maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and order throughout our facilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily housekeeping operations to ensure all areas, including guest rooms, public spaces, and back-of-house areas, meet cleanliness standards.
- Conduct regular inspections of hotel facilities and recommend necessary improvements.
- Develop and implement standard operating procedures for housekeeping tasks.
- Manage and train housekeeping staff to uphold quality service and cleanliness.
- Prepare and assign room and floor status reports to housekeeping personnel.
- Monitor work orders and coordinate with engineering for timely resolutions.
- Facilitate pre-shift meetings to communicate expectations and updates.
- Ensure compliance with safety and health regulations, including maintaining updated Safety Data Sheets (SDS).
- Deliver exceptional guest service by addressing requests and concerns promptly.
- Assist in maintaining inventory levels of linens and guest supplies.
- Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to quality assurance inspections.
- Mentor and support team members to foster a positive work environment.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of supervisory experience in a luxury hotel environment.
- Strong leadership and organizational skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and familiar with Property Management Systems (PMS).
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks as required.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Fluency in English is required; knowledge of additional languages is a plus.
