Housekeeping Manager Job Description

The Housekeeping Manager at MCR Hotels will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the housekeeping department, ensuring that guest rooms, public spaces, and team member areas are clean and well-maintained.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Verify guest room status is communicated to the Front Desk in a timely and efficient manner
  • Inspect guestrooms daily to ensure high standards of cleanliness and maintenance
  • Develop and implement effective cleaning schedules and procedures
  • Supervise and train housekeeping staff to ensure they have the necessary supplies, equipment, and uniforms
  • Conduct regular inspections of public spaces and team member areas to ensure they meet high standards of cleanliness and maintenance
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations and excellent guest satisfaction
  • Develop and implement corrective action plans to improve guest satisfaction and maintain high standards of cleanliness and maintenance
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 2 years' experience in hotel housekeeping or a related field
  • Effective communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office and other hotel management software
