About the role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior IT Specialist to join our team at Klaviyo. As a key member of our IT team, you will be responsible for providing technical support and solutions to our employees worldwide.

Your primary focus will be on troubleshooting and resolving technical issues, working closely with the IT Systems team to escalate issues as necessary. You will also be responsible for mentoring junior team members and helping them grow their technical knowledge.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Overseeing the daily ticket queue and ensuring priority tickets are resolved promptly
  • Providing coaching and guidance to more junior team members
  • Providing real-time support to remote and in-office employees by asking the right questions to dig into the root cause of the problem
  • Identifying recurring technical issues and eliminating manual processes through automation
  • Assisting with hardware needs, including setting up and de-provisioning devices, installing and configuring software, and shipping and receiving
  • Supporting our conference rooms and unified communications technology
  • Identifying a focus area and working on a career plan to ensure continued growth

Requirements include:

  • 3+ years of experience working in a help desk or support environment using a ticketing system such as FreshService, Zendesk, or similar
  • Experience working with executive or VIP-level customers and understanding the unique requirements for supporting them
  • Experience with MDM/SSO strategy and support
  • Experience with core technologies/applications such as Jamf Pro, Okta, 1Password, Google Workspace, and Atlassian Product Suite (Confluence/Jira)
  • Clear verbal and written communication skills
  • Passion for learning new technologies and passing that knowledge on
  • Ability to work from the Boston office and offer occasional after-hours on-site event support
  • Able to handle freight shipments and moving equipment up to 50lbs

We offer a competitive salary range of $88,000-$132,000 USD, as well as a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision coverage, health savings accounts, flexible spending accounts, 401(k), flexible paid time off, and company-paid holidays.
