Nurse with Strong Assessment Skills Needed

Aveanna Healthcare has an exciting opportunity for a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team. As a caregiver for a teenager in the Chapel Hill area, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care that promotes independence and quality of life.

About the Position
We are seeking a nurse with strong assessment and critical thinking skills to work closely with the healthcare team. You will implement the physician's prescribed plan of care, conduct patient assessments, and coordinate care.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans
  • Monitor patient progress and adjust care plans as needed
  • Provide education to patients and their families on health promotion and disease management
  • Communicate effectively with the healthcare team

Requirements
  • Active LPN license in North Carolina
  • CPR certification from American Red Cross or American Heart Association
  • TB skin test within the last 12 months
  • Six months of prior nursing experience preferred
  • Reliable transportation

Salary and Benefits
$18.00-$25.00 per hour based on experience. Additional benefits include opportunities for advancement and professional growth, flexible scheduling, comprehensive training program, and malpractice insurance coverage.
