We are committed to delivering exceptional care to our patients, and we're seeking an experienced Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team on a part-time basis, working nights.

Job Description

As a Licensed Practical Nurse, you will assist in the direction of nursing services for the unit/hall, adhering to the Nursing Practice Act and under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. Your responsibilities will include delegating tasks to professional nurses and non-professional nursing personnel, monitoring their work performance, and observing patients for signs of adverse changes. You will also be responsible for notifying attending physicians of emergencies and implementing changes in orders as instructed or ordered by physicians.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A high school diploma and a valid license from the North Carolina Board of Nursing.
  • Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing.
  • The ability to provide quality nursing care to patients, follow doctors' orders, and demonstrate a genuine interest in geriatric nursing.
  • CPR certification and a willingness to attend in-service training and other staff meetings as required.
