Job Title: Planning and Analysis Manager

The Planning and Analysis Manager is a critical role that oversees the development of a team of financial analysts to meet the organization's financial objectives. This position requires a strong understanding of financial planning and analysis, as well as the ability to communicate effectively with senior management and analysts.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement a strategic plan for the financial planning and analysis function.
  • Recruit, train, and manage a team of financial analysts to drive the end-to-end execution of the annual budgeting and forecasting process.
  • Engage in cross-functional projects to identify the Planning and Analysis function's contribution to advancing the organization's strategic interests.
  • Provide clear guidelines to analysts for projects, guiding them to a starting point and charting a blueprint for execution.
  • Ensure the integrity of the Planning and Analysis data-warehouse by developing sufficient technical knowledge to communicate effectively with business analysts.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, and two years' experience in a Supervisory level position in Financial Planning and Analysis/Management Consulting/Corporate Strategy or Development.
  • Advanced Degree in Accounting, Finance, Statistics, Math, or a related area with a quantitative emphasis, preferred.
  • CPA, CFA, CMA, CAP, or equivalent certification, preferred.
  • Minimum six years' work experience conducting detailed statistical or data analysis.
  • Two years' work experience within the gaming industry with specific knowledge of gaming unique reporting systems.
  • Two years' management level work experience actively supervising direct reports responsible for analysis.
  • Demonstrated experience communicating to all levels of management in a clear and friendly manner both verbally and through the use of presentation aids.
  • Extensive knowledge of Excel, Access, and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to write queries using standard tools to extract data from relational (SQL) databases.
  • Knowledge of statistical analysis techniques and methods, with the ability to build models using retrieved data.
  • Experience building financial models and a strong understanding of corporate finance concepts such as discounted cash flow and valuation.
  • Experience with financial statement analysis methodologies.
  • Experience with Operations analysis and associated methodologies.
  • Experience with Marketing analysis and associated statistical techniques.
  • Experience analyzing gaming performance specifically in the area of slot operations.

Salary: $93,000-$105,000
