Job Title: Application Systems Analyst

At Intermountain Health, we are seeking a highly skilled Application Systems Analyst to join our team. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for providing analysis, design, configuration, testing, implementation, and support of administrative, financial, or clinical information systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Analyze and document user requirements, procedures, and problems to automate or improve existing systems.
  • Review system capabilities, workflow, and scheduling limitations.
  • Develop, document, and revise system design procedures, test procedures, and quality standards.
  • Expand or modify system to serve new purposes or improve workflow.
  • Coordinate and link the application within an organization to increase compatibility for information sharing.
  • Review and analyze the system and performance indicators to locate problems and correct errors.
  • Manage small to medium application projects.
  • Mentor Application Analysts to improve their skills and prepare them for more responsibility.
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Two (2) years of experience in healthcare, technology, or a related field is required.
  • Previous work experience as a high-level/super user is preferred.
  • Experience with Epic - Cadence and/or Grand Central and/or Prelude is preferred.
