Job Overview


TRAX Corporate Office is gearing up for an expansion of operations and is looking for candidates with a strong background in technical and operational management.

To ensure a seamless transition into new contracts and to secure long-term positions, we are seeking experienced Managers for this vital mission during the execution phase.


TRAX is a prominent organization that currently provides prime contractor services for various governmental agencies.

The Financial Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing the financial elements of assigned contracts.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare detailed reports to ensure compliance with contract specifications.
  • Act as the primary liaison for budget, contract management, and accounting issues.
  • Report to the Program Manager regarding the overall financial administration of the contract.
  • Develop and document all policies and procedures related to contract operations.
  • Serve as the main contact for external auditing entities.
  • Oversee the implementation of corporate and contract personnel policies.
  • Input accounts payable data into the financial system, including voucher creation.
  • Reconcile monthly corporate credit card transactions.
  • Generate monthly financial reports and address any inquiries from government representatives.
  • Process bi-weekly cost vouchers and billing submissions.
  • Review and approve new purchase requisitions.
  • Manage weekly financial reporting requirements.
  • Audit payroll reports for accuracy.
  • Perform additional duties as required.
Qualifications

Essential Skills and Qualifications* A bachelor's degree in business administration, finance, accounting, economics, or a related field is required.

  • Over 10 years of progressively responsible experience in program control, finance, and business data management.
  • Familiarity with government contract administration and the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) is preferred.
  • Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Highly developed analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Commitment to fostering a positive and collaborative work environment while maximizing individual contributions.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.

Physical Requirements

  • Work is primarily conducted in an office setting, with occasional fieldwork.
  • Ability to sit and input data on a computer for extended periods.
  • Capability to view a computer monitor for long durations.
  • Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs. unassisted.
