As an E/E Quality Assurance Engineer, you will be instrumental in ensuring the integrity and dependability of electronic components and systems within our autonomous vehicle framework. Your expertise in Systems Engineering, ASPICE, Functional Safety, and Cyber Security will be crucial as you oversee the integration of supplier components into our vehicle architecture, guaranteeing optimal functionality and performance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supplier Engagement: Work closely with suppliers of E/E components and systems to establish and fulfill requirements for system integration and validation.
  • Requirements Oversight: Direct the dissemination of system and component requirements to suppliers, ensuring clarity, completeness, and traceability. Facilitate effective communication between our engineering teams and suppliers to resolve any ambiguities.
  • Supplier Evaluation: Assess potential E/E suppliers based on their Systems Engineering capabilities and ASPICE maturity, as well as their history of delivering high-quality automotive-grade components. Participate in supplier audits to ensure compliance with our quality and process standards.
  • Compliance Assurance: Verify that supplier development processes adhere to ASPICE requirements and relevant ISO standards for Functional Safety and Cyber Security. Provide guidance to suppliers to assist them in achieving necessary certifications.
  • Risk Mitigation: Identify and address risks associated with Functional Safety and Cyber Security throughout the supply chain. Collaborate with suppliers to pinpoint potential vulnerabilities and implement measures to enhance the safety and security of our vehicles.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
  • Demonstrated experience in quality assurance or similar roles within the automotive sector, particularly in electrical/electronic systems development.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of automotive electronic components, embedded systems, software development processes, systems engineering principles, and quality standards (e.g., IATF 16949, ASPICE).
  • Strong analytical abilities and meticulous attention to detail, capable of interpreting complex data, conducting root cause analysis, and driving problem-solving initiatives.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the capacity to collaborate effectively across diverse teams and influence stakeholders at all levels.
