Position Summary:
As a Senior Quality Engineer, you will be the primary liaison for quality-related matters throughout the development and production phases. Your expertise will be essential in upholding quality assurance standards that align with both customer expectations and industry regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the main point of contact for all customer-related quality inquiries during the product lifecycle.
- Establish and uphold quality assurance policies and procedures to ensure compliance with customer and industry standards.
- Design and implement sampling methods and guidelines for documenting and reporting quality metrics.
- Lead investigations into supplier quality concerns and evaluate supplier 8D reports.
- Address customer complaints and manage non-conformance issues effectively.
- Formulate, propose, and oversee corrective and preventive measures.
- Generate reports to convey the results of quality assurance activities.
- Facilitate and assist with on-site audits conducted by clients and external auditors.
- Review and authorize Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) submissions for suppliers and customers.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering Management, Industrial Engineering, or Electrical Engineering.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in quality assurance, preferably within the Automotive Electronics sector.
- Familiarity with Quality Management Systems, Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP), and Production Part Approval Process (PPAP), particularly in automotive contexts.
- Experience in quality inspection, auditing, and testing methodologies.
- Willingness to travel, including occasional international trips, as required.
- Demonstrated ability to think strategically and operationally, analyze complex issues, exercise sound judgment, and innovate beyond conventional practices.
