Job Overview

The Quality Assurance Specialist will be instrumental in upholding and enhancing the quality management framework at Link Consulting Services. This role encompasses comprehensive oversight of quality documentation, ensuring adherence to industry regulations, and fostering continuous improvement efforts. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional attention to detail, robust organizational capabilities, and a thorough understanding of quality assurance methodologies.

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Documentation Oversight:
    • Manage and refresh quality management system documentation, including policies, procedures, work instructions, forms, and records.
    • Draft, amend, and archive quality documents to ensure compliance with regulatory and organizational standards.
    • Facilitate the review and approval workflow for quality documents, ensuring timely processing and distribution.
    • Administer document control systems, both digital and physical, ensuring all quality records are systematically organized and easily accessible.
    • Confirm that all documentation is current and accurately reflects operational practices and regulatory requirements.
  • Audit Preparation:
    • Organize and prepare documentation for internal and external quality audits, ensuring readiness and compliance.
    • Support auditors by providing necessary documents and records during the audit process.
    • Monitor audit findings and follow up on action items, ensuring prompt resolution and documentation of corrective measures.
  • Quality Metrics and Analysis:
    • Gather, compile, and evaluate quality data from various sources.
    • Create and disseminate quality reports, charts, and graphs for management review.
    • Maintain records of quality metrics and performance indicators, tracking trends and identifying opportunities for enhancement.
  • Non-conformance Management:
    • Document non-conformance reports (NCRs) and corrective action requests (CARs), ensuring thoroughness and accuracy.
    • Assist in root cause analysis and the formulation of corrective and preventive actions.
    • Oversee the implementation and effectiveness of corrective actions, maintaining comprehensive records throughout the process.
  • Supplier Quality Oversight:
    • Maintain supplier quality records, including audits, performance assessments, and communications.
    • Document and monitor supplier non-conformances and corrective actions.
    • Assist in the evaluation and approval of new suppliers, ensuring alignment with quality standards.

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience in a quality assurance capacity, preferably within the defense or aerospace sectors.
  • Thorough knowledge of ISO 9001 and AS9100 standards.
  • Strong grasp of quality management principles, methodologies, and tools.
  • Excellent organizational and documentation skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively within a team.
