Quality Assurance Specialist Position at Amtec Contract

Job Summary:

The Quality Assurance Specialist is responsible for inspecting production articles to ensure they meet specifications at inspection or production stations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review technical documents and specifications to gather product details such as materials, surface finishes, and dimensions.
  • Conduct thorough inspections of work pieces to verify production adherence to specifications, utilizing precision instruments such as calipers and micrometers.

Requirements:

Minimum requirement of a high school diploma or equivalent with one to three years of relevant experience in a manufacturing environment.

Essential Skills and Abilities:

  • Ability to comprehend complex technical documents and write detailed reports.
  • Proficiency in mathematical calculations and logical reasoning.
  • Familiarity with manufacturing software and quality control systems.
  • Proficient in the use of precision inspection tools and equipment.
  • Skilled in reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications.

Physical Demands:

The Quality Assurance Specialist must be able to primarily use hands, walk, and sit during work hours. Occasional standing is necessary, with the ability to lift items up to 25 pounds. Close vision is required for this role.
