About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Accessibility (DEIA) Implementation Specialist to join our team at Steel Point Solutions. This individual will engage with our DEIA Thought Leader and clients to support the implementation of their DEIA initiatives across the organization.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Federal Governance and Advisory Councils, as well as best practices and current trends in DEI. They will be responsible for supporting the development and implementation of comprehensive DEIA governance structures that align with client missions and values.

This role requires excellent analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and create actionable plans. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are also essential, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.

  • Support the development and implementation of comprehensive DEIA governance structures.
  • Engage with senior government executives/leaders to develop and implement organization-wide DEIA governance models.
  • Coordinate and execute meetings, including logistics and meeting material preparation.
  • Draft materials to support implementation of governance models and other key areas of DEIA work.
  • Develop briefings, reports, and other communications to communicate governance progress, goals, and achievements to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Stay up-to-date on legal and regulatory requirements related to governance models that relate to diversity, equity, inclusion, and accessibility.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in human resources, Organizational Development, Sociology, Psychology, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience supporting the development and implementation of DEI programs and initiatives.
  • Deep understanding of Federal Governance and Advisory Councils, best practices, and current trends.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and create actionable plans.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire change in a diverse and dynamic environment.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills.
  • Experience in developing briefings, reports, and newsletters for executive audiences.
  • Commitment to continuous learning and staying informed about DEI developments and innovations.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience in a similar role within a large, complex organization.
  • Certification in diversity and inclusion or related fields.
  • Experience with Federal Advisory Councils at the SES/ GO/ Flag Officer level.

The salary range is $110,000–$120,000 USD.
