About the Opportunity

We are seeking a per diem speech pathologist to join our team at Memorial Hermann Health System. This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated and compassionate professional to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our patients.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality speech therapy services to patients of all ages with communication and oral-pharyngeal disorders. They will work collaboratively with our interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans that promote optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities
  • Evaluate and assess patients' communication and swallowing abilities
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address patients' needs
  • Provide direct patient care and therapy services
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination
  • Document patient progress and outcomes in accordance with system policies
Requirements
  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited university
  • Current licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist in Texas
  • Certification from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA)
  • 1 year of experience in pediatric or adult speech pathology preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
