  • Minimum 4-6 years' experience with Oracle 18C or later and Postgres 9.6.8 or later.
  • Hands-on experience with database administration, backup recovery, and troubleshooting.
  • Experience with database design, optimization, and tuning.
  • Experience with implementing database security concepts, including access, auditing, and encryption.
  • Bash shell scripting experience.
  • Understanding of server hardware, including RAM, CPU, permanent storage, I/O, and other capacity-related resources.
  • Experience in database capacity planning and forecasting.
  • Good SQL scripting skills.
  • Good performance tuning skills.
  • Ability to proactively identify, troubleshoot, and resolve live database issues.
  • Knowledge of disaster recovery principles and practices, including planning, testing, backup/restore.
