Key Responsibilities:
At Nucor, safety is paramount in every role. Candidates are expected to exemplify the ability to initiate, enforce, and maintain safety protocols, practices, and cleanliness standards consistently.
- Adhere to company and OSHA safety regulations.
- Work schedule: 6:00 am - 4:00 pm, Monday - Friday; 5:30 am - 2:00 pm on Saturdays.
- Oversee, clean, and assess production machinery to guarantee optimal functionality.
- Conduct routine inspections and walkthroughs during operations to identify potential issues.
- Perform visual assessments of all product streams, including waste and metals, to enhance quality and minimize losses.
