Job Description

As a Sales Account Manager at Dairy Farmers of America, you will be responsible for managing assigned accounts and identifying new sales/business opportunities. You will foster strong relationships with customers to understand their needs, provide solutions, respond to inquiries, handle and resolve issues, and ultimately achieve sales targets and revenue goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as a primary point of contact for customers and address their inquiries and concerns promptly.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and internal groups to solve customer issues and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, sales activities, and sales pipelines.
  • Analyze customer accounts to identify growth opportunities and areas for improvement.
  • Present and promote products or services to customers effectively.
  • Take action on account challenges and opportunities while effectively balancing the needs of DFA and the customer.
  • Identify and recommend new sales opportunities within existing accounts.
  • Prepare and deliver sales presentations, product demonstrations, and proposals on existing and new products and/or services.
  • Generate regular reports on sales performance and account status.

Requirements:

  • Undergraduate degree in business, sales, marketing, or related curriculum (or equivalent combination of experience and education).
  • 2 to 5 years of experience dealing directly with customers, working in a sales or sales support role, or related experience.
  • Bilingual, Spanish speaking required.
  • Sound knowledge of sales techniques.
  • Knowledge of and skill with Microsoft Office Suite and company computer systems.
