Job Overview

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and coordinate the activities of on-site employees to ensure efficient operations and high-quality customer service.
  • Respond to customer inquiries and provide expert advice on company products and services.
  • Lead procurement activities, including sourcing, quoting, and maintaining relationships with manufacturing partners.
  • Develop and maintain positive customer relationships to drive business growth and retention.
  • Manage shipping, receiving, and inventory management teams to ensure seamless logistics and supply chain operations.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years of purchasing and inventory experience within an Integrated Supply/Industrial Distribution environment.
  • Minimum 2 years of management experience of 5 or more team members.
  • Background experience in MRO and indirect material procurement with inventory management skillset.
  • Outstanding customer service and management skills.
  • Must be sales driven and have problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
  • Supervising and mentoring of employees.
  • Following and implementing DXP policies and procedures.
  • SAP Experience preferred.

Additional Information:

Physical Demand: Must pass physical and be able to lift up to 50lbs.

Working Conditions: Industrial / Manufacturing Environment.

Training/Certifications: N/A.

Shift Time/Overtime: Monday – Friday with occasional weekends and afterhours calls.

Travel: No travel.

Education: Bachelor's Degree (Supply Chain Management preferred) or equivalent experience.
