This position is responsible for ensuring the safe, efficient, and reliable execution of activities within manufacturing facilities to meet customer requirements, regulatory agency standards, and community obligations.

As a leader, you will provide positive influence to direct reports by setting expectations, maintaining accountability, and providing timely performance feedback through effective communication and coaching.

  • Communicate effectively with technicians, shift teams, and unit management to ensure seamless operations.
  • Administer company policies and procedures to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Monitor daily activities to ensure compliance with HSE regulations, Goal Zero Rules of Performance, and work procedures.
  • Ensure direct reports receive necessary training and coaching to maintain compliance with training requirements.
  • Participate in the implementation and follow-up of plant HSE policies.
  • Address safety, environmental, equipment, process, or personnel issues and escalate them appropriately.
  • Ensure the availability of necessary resources to guarantee safe and reliable operation of site assets.
  • Participate in troubleshooting and resolving mechanical and process issues.
  • Verify the accuracy of collected data, including Comment Logs, Daily Report Summaries, and IntelliTrac Operating Discipline Rounds.
  • Drive performance to the business plan through sound practices and policies.
  • Propose procedure revisions to continuously improve site performance and compliance requirements.
  • Assess employee skills and provide training and coaching as needed.
  • Minimum 7 years of experience in plant operations, engineering, or technical roles or 5 years with a degree is required.
  • Demonstrated strong technical skills in the Production area, including continuous unit operations, utilities, and wastewater.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbally and in writing.
  • Ability to work 12-hour, 7-day rotating shifts, weekends, and holidays.
  • Understanding and adherence to strict environmental, health, safety, security, and quality policies.
  • Strong computer skills, including SAP and Microsoft Office.
