About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Safety Manager to join our team at Unispace. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the health and safety of our employees, clients, and subcontractors on construction projects.

Your primary responsibility will be to develop and implement effective safety policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and guidelines. You will work closely with our project managers and superintendents to maintain safe work environments and provide training to staff at all levels.

In addition to your technical expertise, you will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement safety policies and procedures for construction projects
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant safety regulations and guidelines
  • Provide training to staff at all levels on safe practices and procedures
  • Collaborate with project managers and superintendents to maintain safe work environments
  • Investigate incidents and injuries, and develop strategies for prevention
Requirements
  • Proven experience in safety management, preferably in the construction industry
  • Strong knowledge of OSHA safety processes and guidelines
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Relevant certifications, such as OSHA 30 or CPR/First Aid, are highly valued
