Job Overview

Metropolis is seeking a highly skilled Safety Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our safety team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the health and safety of our employees, customers, and the environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement safety policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory agency guidelines and company policies.
  • Collaborate with operating units to ensure safety practices are in place and effective.
  • Analyze safety data and trends to identify areas for improvement.
  • Design and implement training programs to educate employees on safety procedures and protocols.
  • Conduct regular safety audits and inspections to ensure compliance with safety standards.
  • Develop and maintain safety policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory agency guidelines and company policies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure safety is integrated into all aspects of the business.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety or related field.
  • Minimum of two years of safety and health experience.
  • Knowledge of federal and state safety and health regulations.
  • Prior experience in the service and/or transportation sector is preferred.
  • Ability to travel approximately 30% of the time within the United States and Canada.
