Job Summary:

We are seeking a Senior Network Security Specialist to support the Navy-Marine Corps Intranet (NMCI) on the Service Management, Integration and Transport (SMIT) Contract.

This position involves advanced support of enterprise Firewall, DMZ, IPS, and VPN appliances.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead in identifying, troubleshooting, and resolving complex security issues by configuring and maintaining Firewalls, VPN, DMZ, and Intrusion Prevention Systems.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve network security operations.
  • Participate in Root Cause Analysis for Problem Management activities.

Qualifications:

  • B.S. Degree and 8-12 years of prior relevant experience or Masters with 6-10 years of prior relevant experience.
  • Active Secret Clearance and DoD IAT Level III Certification.
  • Network Vendor Certification (Cisco, Juniper, Aruba, F5, Palo Alto, McAfee, Trellix).
  • Extensive experience troubleshooting networks.
