Security Systems Integration Specialist

At Securitas Electronic Security Inc, we are seeking a skilled Security Systems Integration Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our technical staff, you will be responsible for providing administrative and break-fix support for mission-critical Windows-based systems.

You will work closely with our experienced team to maintain and upgrade computer-based physical security systems for a government entity. Your primary focus will be on ensuring application uptime and system performance.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Responding to trouble tickets to ensure application uptime and system performance
  • Working individually and as a team to diagnose and resolve application issues
  • Executing preventative maintenance tasks to maximize application availability and identify system faults
  • Performing routine configuration changes (user permissions, application configuration, etc.)
  • Documenting all system modifications through a digital change control tracking system
  • Producing quality technical documentation describing the conceptual and quantitative facets of system deployment, intended for both a technical and non-technical audience
  • Performing pre-deployment end-to-end testing of all upgrades and major modifications
  • Performing on-site installations of software upgrades and major modifications

Requirements include:

  • BS degree in Computer Science, or Engineering (Computer or Electrical), or relevant field
  • Strong working knowledge of Windows Server and Client environments
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Working knowledge of Windows server and client hardware (Motherboards and components, storage, peripherals, etc.)
  • Working knowledge of network communications and IP addressing
  • Lenel OnGuard Certification, other enterprise-grade access control system certification a plus
  • Verint Nextiva / VMS Certification, other enterprise-grade CCTV system certification a plus
