You will engage in design and code evaluations, providing guidance to ensure our organization effectively mitigates risks.

This role is crucial as our team expands, and we seek an individual with a proactive approach to enhance our security initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess and interpret threats, vulnerabilities, impacts, and risks associated with security challenges.
  • Facilitate Static Application Security Testing (SAST), Software Composition Analysis (SCA), and Dynamic Application Security Testing (DAST) technologies.
  • Collaborate with DevOps teams to establish connections between our security scanners and CI/CD processes.
  • Champion our shift-left security strategy.
  • Provide subject matter expert (SME) support and remediation advice to stakeholders.
  • Design and develop metrics, policies, processes, and procedures for DevSecOps.
  • Consult on DevSecOps requirements from various application and business unit partners.

Qualifications:

Essential:

  • 3-5 years of experience in application security.
  • Proficient in conducting secure code evaluations and security assessments for web and mobile applications.
  • Familiarity with secure development methodologies and coding practices.
  • Knowledge of OWASP Top 10 and emerging security threats.
  • Experience with SAST, DAST, and SCA tools.
  • Understanding of infrastructure as code and testing strategies for infrastructure.
  • Proficient in various operating systems including Windows, Unix/Linux, Mac OS X, Android, and iOS.
  • Software development experience in languages such as Java, C#, JavaScript, Python, PowerShell, Bash, or Groovy.
  • Ability to script for process automation and continuous improvement.
  • Comprehensive understanding of networking technologies, OSI model, and TCP/IP.
  • Familiarity with DevSecOps pipelines, Agile methodologies, container security, APIs, and microservices.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred:

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in information security, or equivalent professional experience and industry-recognized certifications.
  • Prior experience in a DevSecOps role.
  • Relevant information security certifications (e.g., OSCP, OSWA, GPEN, GWAPT, eCPPT, eWPT, CEH, CISSP, CSSLP).
  • Experience with cloud security in platforms such as Azure, AWS, or GCP.
  • Familiarity with Cloud Security Posture Management (CSPM) tools.
  • Experience in the gaming industry.
