Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Application Engineer to join our team at Archetype Permanent Solutions. As an Application Engineer, you will play a critical role in supporting the development and execution of control systems for power generation and propulsion control systems driven by prime movers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support sales by determining customer requirements and developing a statement of work.
  • Estimate project costs for materials and engineering resources, and develop quotes.
  • Project engineering, including BOM, electrical and mechanical design, development of drawings, manuals, and other documentation.
  • Provide in-house technical support for sales and service teams, as well as direct customer support.
  • Conduct site support, commissioning, and service globally.
  • Ensure safety in application design and on-site working environments.

Requirements:

  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, SolidWorks.
  • Demonstrated self-starter with strong interpersonal skills.
  • Experience with automation control systems and instrumentation.
  • Experience with gas engines required.
  • Familiarity with PLC, HMI, SCADA programming.
