Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Security Engineer to join our team at Seminole Hard Rock Support Services. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, deploying, and operating secure cloud solutions, including cloud security posture management, cloud workload management, and cloud network security.

The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of cloud security technologies, including cloud service providers, PaaS, and SaaS. They will also have experience with cloud security posture management, cloud workload management, and cloud network security. Additionally, they will have strong leadership skills, excellent verbal and written communication skills, and the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders.

The Cloud Security Engineer will be responsible for:

  • Assessing existing infrastructure and identifying threats
  • Providing recommendations on new infrastructure and threat modeling
  • Developing, solutioning, operating, maintaining, and supporting a secure cloud environment
  • Monitoring for and responding to incidents in cloud environments
  • Keeping cloud infrastructure current and making recommendations for improvement
  • Analyzing, designing, and developing programs, shell scripts, tests, and infrastructure automation capabilities
  • Developing security standards in partnership with Engineering, Infrastructure Services, and Application Development
  • Representing the cloud security team in change control activities
  • Staying abreast with security standards and emerging vulnerabilities/threats
  • Engaging in digital forensics to investigate breaches or security incidents
  • Collaborating with Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity Teams
  • Empowering the Security Compliance and Data Protection Team to audit cloud environments
  • Establishing and maintaining a feedback mechanism to refine security protocols

The successful candidate will have:

  • Experience in designing, deploying, and operating secure cloud solutions
  • Experience with cloud security posture management, cloud workload management, SaaS security posture management, cloud network security, cloud native application protection, and cloud identity security
  • Deep technical knowledge of on-prem data center technologies and cloud service providers
  • Experience writing formal security assessments and ad-hoc security reports
  • Experience working as part of a security incident response team
  • Experience delivering security metrics and measurement capability
  • Experience in data protection and privacy management
