Position Overview

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide tailored services to a diverse group of K – 12 students, adapting interventions to suit their individual needs and developmental levels.
  • Evaluate and assist students in areas of speech, articulation, fluency, and language growth, utilizing a comprehensive approach to enhance their communication abilities.
  • Work collaboratively with educators and school staff to implement effective strategies, ensuring a unified approach to student development.
  • Conduct thorough assessments and generate detailed reports that highlight strengths and areas for improvement, focusing on voice, speech, and fluency for informed educational decisions.
  • Create individualized treatment plans that prioritize the needs of the child and their family, considering their unique circumstances.
  • Participate in and/or lead Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings, providing valuable insights and recommendations to support students' communication objectives.
  • Maintain confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA and applicable regulations, ensuring the protection of sensitive information related to children and their families.

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, Communication Disorders, or a related field.
  • Valid Pennsylvania Speech Language Pathology (SLP) license.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective interaction with students, families, and colleagues.
  • Demonstrated leadership abilities.

Compensation: $75.00 per hour
