Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide tailored services to a diverse population of K – 12 students, adapting your approach to their individual needs and developmental levels.
  • Evaluate and assist students in areas of speech, articulation, fluency, and language development, utilizing a comprehensive approach to improve their communication abilities.
  • Work collaboratively with classroom educators and other school staff to implement focused interventions, ensuring a unified strategy for student advancement.
  • Conduct assessments and generate detailed reports that highlight strengths and areas for improvement, concentrating on voice, speech, and fluency for informed educational decisions.
  • Create individualized treatment plans with a focus on the child and family, taking into account the specific needs and situations of each student and their family.
  • Participate in and/or lead Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings, providing valuable insights and recommendations to support students' communication objectives.
  • Maintain confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA and/or State/Federal regulations, ensuring the protection of sensitive information related to children and their families.

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, Communication Disorders, or a related field.
  • Valid Pennsylvania Speech Language Pathology (SLP) license.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with students, families, and colleagues.
  • Strong leadership capabilities.
