About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Business Development Representative - SMB to join our ArcBest Sales team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with small to medium-sized customers across North America.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prospect and solicit new customers through cold calling and email communication.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with existing customers to increase sales and revenue.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including carrier sales, yield management, and modal operations, to ensure seamless customer service.
  • Utilize customer databases and CRM software to research new leads and identify business opportunities.
  • Act as a consultant to customers to provide expert advice on transportation services and solutions.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree, preferred.
  • Previous customer sales, operations, or service experience, preferred.
  • Ability to multi-task with a high attention to detail.
