Position SummaryWe are currently in search of a Residential Property Financial Specialist who will take charge of reconciling account balances and bank statements, managing the general ledger, and executing month-end closing procedures at our corporate headquarters.
Key Responsibilities- Ensure accurate verification and reconciliation of accounts payable and receivable for each property.
- Analyze financial data and provide a summary of financial conditions for each property.
- Prepare financial statements according to our established timelines.
- Conduct monthly and quarterly reconciliations to guarantee precise reporting and ledger upkeep.
- Review all inter-company transactions thoroughly.
- Assist in property audits as needed.
- Support the month-end and year-end closing processes.
- In-depth knowledge of general financial accounting and cost accounting principles.
- Ability to comply with generally accepted accounting standards.
- Proficient in accounting software applications.
- Strong organizational skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite or similar tools.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
- 1 to 3 years of experience in residential property management accounting is preferred.
- Experience with Yardi Software is a plus but not mandatory.
Work Schedule: Monday - Friday (9 AM - 6 PM)
Compensation: Starting at $62,000+
