Position Summary

We are currently in search of a Residential Property Financial Specialist who will take charge of reconciling account balances and bank statements, managing the general ledger, and executing month-end closing procedures at our corporate headquarters.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure accurate verification and reconciliation of accounts payable and receivable for each property.
  • Analyze financial data and provide a summary of financial conditions for each property.
  • Prepare financial statements according to our established timelines.
  • Conduct monthly and quarterly reconciliations to guarantee precise reporting and ledger upkeep.
  • Review all inter-company transactions thoroughly.
  • Assist in property audits as needed.
  • Support the month-end and year-end closing processes.
Qualifications
  • In-depth knowledge of general financial accounting and cost accounting principles.
  • Ability to comply with generally accepted accounting standards.
  • Proficient in accounting software applications.
  • Strong organizational skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite or similar tools.
Educational Background
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
  • 1 to 3 years of experience in residential property management accounting is preferred.
  • Experience with Yardi Software is a plus but not mandatory.
Additional Information

Work Schedule: Monday - Friday (9 AM - 6 PM)

Compensation: Starting at $62,000+
