Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Process Release of Information (ROI) document requests in a timely and efficient manner
  • Assist in sorting, prepping, and scanning patient documents
  • Maintain tracking logs of ROI requests
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure accurate and complete patient records
  • Stay up-to-date with changing regulations and policies related to health information management
Requirements
  • Equivalent to completion of the twelfth grade
  • One year of California state service clerical experience, including training and supervised work experience in the procurement and processing of health data, or two years of clerical experience in the medical or health records section of a health facility
Working Conditions

Travel is required for this position.

Possession of Minimum Qualifications will be verified prior to interview and/or appointment.

Candidates new to CDCR or the Division of Juvenile Justice are required to submit to a background investigation process utilizing Live Scan Fingerprinting, and Tuberculosis testing prior to appointment followed by department annual Tuberculosis testing/evaluation thereafter.
