Your contributions will be vital during month-end closing processes and in supporting various audit activities, including those related to tax and financial statements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct daily reconciliations for various bank and credit card accounts across multiple entities.
- Ensure the integrity of the general ledger through monthly reconciliations of accounts.
- Engage in the month-end closing process, covering aspects such as fixed assets, accruals, prepaids, and inventory management.
- Manage lease amortization schedules in compliance with ASC 842 standards.
- Confirm that accounts payable invoices are accurately charged to the correct accounts and investigate the classification of miscellaneous transactions.
- Produce and interpret financial reports utilizing ERP systems, particularly Sage Intacct.
- Support management during annual audits by compiling and organizing necessary account data and documentation.
- Collaborate with management on projects aimed at process enhancements and system upgrades.
- Assist with special projects as directed by the Controller.
- Stay informed about current accounting practices and regulations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting is mandatory.
- Experience in a multi-entity environment is preferred.
- 3-7 years of relevant accounting experience in a comparable position.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
- Familiarity with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP); knowledge of IFRS is advantageous.
- Excellent organizational and analytical capabilities.
- Experience with Sage Intacct is highly regarded, though not essential.
