KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist in ensuring compliance with accreditation standards, patient safety objectives, and various state or licensing mandates.
- Facilitate the processing of documentation between departmental leaders and committees.
- Document and preserve minutes from committee meetings, along with performance improvement and risk management records.
- Oversee the maintenance and revision of policy and procedure manuals.
- Manage and update both electronic and physical databases.
- Support the execution of projects and system-wide educational initiatives, ensuring adherence to State Licensing and CMS regulatory standards.
- Monitor assigned projects across the organization, which may encompass quality councils, policy and procedure updates, safety committees, departmental assessments, and board evaluations.
- Carry out other responsibilities and tasks as directed.
- High school diploma or equivalent is mandatory.
- An Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a clinical healthcare discipline, such as nursing or counseling, is preferred.
- A minimum of one year of experience with Joint Commission/CARF accreditation and in a compliance or risk management role is advantageous.
