Physician Leader for Acute Rehabilitation Services

MedChi, The Maryland State Medical Society, is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Physician Leader to serve as the Medical Director for its Acute Rehabilitation Services. This is a unique opportunity for a physician to lead a dedicated team of rehabilitation professionals and contribute to the development of high-quality patient care services.
Key Responsibilities- Provide clinical direction and supervision to the rehabilitation services team.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve patient outcomes and satisfaction.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures.
- Lead a team of rehabilitation professionals and provide guidance and support to ensure excellent patient care.
- Board Certification in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation.
- MD or DO degree.
- 3-5 years of experience in rehabilitation medicine.
- Prior director experience preferred.
- Ability to work in a matrixed system.
- Physician in good standing with NPI and state boards.
- Must be able to maintain hospital credentials.
The compensation for this position is between $261,614 and $349,753 per year, which includes a comprehensive benefits package and opportunities for professional growth and development.
